The Classter-Webex integration provides advanced functionality and customization options to enhance the user experience, key features of the Integration:
- Connection Type: The Classter-Webex integration provides three connection type options to suit different operational needs:
- Using Classter Classroom: Links a specific Classter classroom with a Webex license. A Webex meeting is automatically created every time a session is scheduled in this classroom.
- Using Lecturer Personal Account: Connects a lecturer’s Webex account (personal or institutional) with session creation in Classter. A Webex license is required for each lecturer, and a Webex meeting is created whenever a session is scheduled for their subject.
- Using Plain Personal URL: Allows manual entry of a personal Webex URL. The URL is copied from the lecturer’s Webex account and pasted into the session details for use.
- Meeting Type: Select the type of Webex meetings to use in conjunction with Classter. This setting determines the features and capabilities available for sessions based on your Webex license. - Smart Notifications: Enable this feature to automatically notify lecturers if their Webex credentials need updating. This is particularly useful when using the connection type Using Lecturer Personal Account, ensuring uninterrupted scheduling and operation of online sessions.
- Pin Code Visibility: Define which users can view the Webex meeting PIN code. You can configure this setting to grant visibility to specific user groups, such as lecturers or students, based on your institution’s privacy and security policies.
